The new Crafter 2022 of Volkswagen commercial has had an interesting renovation to remain one of the best options in cargo vehicles and transport of people. In addition to the version 3.5t, there are also the versions 4.9t and 5t with different lengths, heights and bodies making it a versatile vehicle for any type of business.
Mechanically, the new Crafter features a revised 2.0-liter 4-cylinder TDI engine, delivering 177 hp and 302 lb-ft of torque, and can be equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission or a new 8-speed automatic transmission, both of which can be combined with the start-stop function that improves fuel efficiency.
Engine improvements include optimizations to the turbocharger design, the cylinders and the integration of a second alternator and a second air conditioning compressor. The crankcase now has a larger oil filling capacity. The Chassis Cab version measures 6.83 meters long, 2.04 meters wide (2.42 meters with mirrors) and 2.32 meters high with a wheelbase of 4.49 meters.

The Cargo versions have a cargo volume of 14.4 to 16.4 cubic meters with high roof, while the super high roof versions range from 16.1 to 18.4 cubic meters of capacity, the latter having a ground clearance of 2.19 meters.
All versions have front space for two or three people and the passenger version can accommodate up to 21 people, this body is ideal for the tourism industry. In addition, another great advantage is that the rear axle is simple, which reduces the cost of tolls and can circulate in large cities 24/7.
