The 2023 Toyota Camry range receives interesting changes, especially for the hybrid model, since from now on two more options are added to the family that come to complement the product. These are the new SE Hybrid and SE Hybrid Nightshade, which have sporty type bumpers and spoiler. Both feature 18-inch aluminum wheels with a more daring design.
As part of the evolution that all Toyota models have experienced in terms of design, let us remember that the first was launched in 1982 as a 1983 model year. This one looks sportier, in addition to being built under the new Toyota architecture. Toyota (TNGA).
The equipment, the front headlights in the newer versions are Bi-LED, and the rear ones in all ranges are LED. All electric hybrid versions of Camry share a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine that, together with the hybrid system, generates a maximum power of 208 HP; while the gasoline versions have a maximum power of 201 HP. In addition, the entire range has MacPherson-type independent front suspension, as well as double wishbone rear suspension with springs.
The SE Hybrid and SE Hybrid Nightshade versions add the S-Flow system with sequential shift adjustment. They also include a sunroof, LED turn signals, electrochromatic interior rearview mirror and Homelink, as well as leather upholstery and steering wheel changes. The engine issue remains the same, that is, with the 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder that works together with the hybrid system generating a maximum power of 208 hp.
The models integrate the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, a complete active safety system such as the pre-collision safety system, lane keep assist, automatic high beam system, dynamic cruise control with radar, among others.
